Hi everyone, hope you are all well and managing to fit in a few swims here and there! ![]()
As some of you may know I'm currently doing a Marine Biology Masters at Exeter. We currently have a project to create a social media video on a topic of our choice and have chosen 'Blue Health'. As part of this video I thought it would be great to include some voices of frequent users of the sea i.e you guys! ![]()
Therefore I would like to ask if anyone would like to send a brief video of themselves saying one word about how sea swimming/the sea in general makes you feel after being in/by it. It would be great to get a personal perspective as well as a 'sciencey' view of Blue Health. ![]()
Any questions please feel free to message me!
Happy Swimming!

Dear Sureswimmers- after the govβs announcement this evening Sureswim Kernows sea swim sessions will cease for the time being until we are allowed to start up again
Unfortunate but necessary![]()
In the meantime if you are within the given distance then I hope you will manage where poss to continue to swim as long as it is SAFE to do so... if not, I really hope you can manage to maintain some structured physical exercise regime and stay as strong πͺ and positive as possible βοΈ![]()
The Sureswim team will miss you during this interlude and really look forward to seeing you all again in the not too distant future ππ
Just to update all our pool Sureswimmers- sorry, there is still no progress in getting back to our pool sessions due to CV and gov. restrictions which entail enhanced cleaning programme and therefore a reduction in swim slots.
As soon as Sureswim are offered a space we will get back to the pool and it will be announced here.
We look forward to seeing you all then:)
Dolphin watching this afternoon- we tried to catch them up but even with their acrobatics no chance!
